A Different Kind of Therapy: How I Found My Way to Pottery
When I started studying Psychology in college, I became fascinated by the little things that make people feel comfortable, connected, and at home.
I became especially interested in the relationship between people and the spaces they live in.
During one particularly stressful semester, I started taking pottery classes simply as a way to slow down.
There were no notifications.
No assignments.
No deadlines.
Just a piece of clay spinning beneath my hands.
At first, I was terrible at it.
Some of my first cups were uneven. A few pieces collapsed completely. One of my favorite pieces cracked during firing.
But I kept coming back.
Pottery became my quiet place.
I began to realize that handmade objects can carry a feeling that mass-produced objects sometimes can't. A handmade mug isn't just something you drink coffee from. It can become part of your morning routine. A small bowl can remind you to slow down and enjoy dinner. A simple vase can make an ordinary corner of your home feel special.
That idea became the foundation of this brand.
We create ceramics for everyday moments — slow mornings, shared meals, quiet evenings, and all the little moments in between.
I may have started college studying the human mind, but pottery taught me something equally important:
Sometimes, creating something with your hands is the simplest way to reconnect with yourself.
Every piece is made with that idea in mind.
Simple. Useful. Imperfect. Human.
And hopefully, something you'll love having in your home for years to come.
